Barbera d'Alba Superiore

Barbera d'Alba Superiore

Grape-variety: Barbera

Maturing and ageing: 1 year in small barrels and 1 year in the bottle Release to market: second year following the vintage

Cellar life: 10 years in ideal conditions

Tasting notes: ruby red tending to garnet; intense, yet delicate vinous nose, enhanced by the wood; a dry wine with a bitterish flavour that softens with ageing to become rounded and full-bodied.
